First Baptist Polk City is a group of regular people who want to honor our Lord Jesus Christ and encourage each other to grow in our walk with Him.

What are your services like?

Whether it is through the music, prayer, giving, or preaching, God's Word and God's Son are at the center of all of our gatherings.

Where should I park?

We have a parking lot on the east side of the church off Hamolia Avenue. Guest parking is located in this lot near the front door. There are also parking spots on S. Azalea Avenue and an overflow parking grass parking lot on the corner of S. Azalea Avenue and Broadway Boulevard.

Where should I go when I enter the building?

When you look at the picture of our sanctuary to the right (which was taken from the parking lot off Hamolia Ave), you can see the two entrances with the two overhangs. Go in either one and you will see the Welcome Center Desk. Greeters should be at that desk and will be able to assist you.

Do you provide childcare?

Clean, well-staffed nurseries for infants and toddlers are provided during all church services.

What should I wear?

As a church, we gather to worship the Lord and want to dress in a way that is appropriate for the occasion. But what does that mean? Some folks wear sports coats, ties, and dresses while others wear jeans and casual shirts. We realize that Jesus probably didn't dress differently when He went to the Temple than what He wore during the rest of the week. So join us for worship and don't get caught up in what you or anyone else is wearing.
